MikeTrampe: State your name.
EP: My name is Luis Bardales Jr., but my stage name is El Princeton.
MikeTrampe: Where are you from?
EP: I am from Lima, Peru and I came to America when I was two years old.
MikeTrampe: How would you describe your music?
EP: I would describe my music as ambient melodies with a Hip-Hop and R&B influence to it
MikeTrampe: Who are your musical influences?
EP: I looked up to Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake as a child when it came to singing. When it comes to rap I look up to J. Cole, Drake, and Kendrick Lamar.
As a music producer, my three favorite all time producers are Timbaland, Kanye West, and Dr. Dre.
MikeTrampe: How do you feel about the music industry as a whole right now?
EP: Many people feel that the music industry has been dumb downed. I like to think different because I feel like the music industry has so much freedom and versatility in it.
As humans we don’t like change, but at the same time we get bored of listening to the same thing no matter how good it is. Imagine eating your favorite meal and imagine having that three times a day for the rest of your life. That analogy explains that sometimes we need a little different sound and perspective a creativity.
MikeTrampe: Where do you see your music career in 5 years?
EP: I see myself performing live and being on tour. Most importantly I see myself being an inspiration to those who told they couldn’t follow their dreams because they have to follow “the system.”
MikeTrampe: If you could only bring one album to a deserted island, what album would you bring?
EP: That is a hard one, but my top 3 would have to be Michael Jackson Xscape album, J. Cole’s Forest Hill Drive, and Drake’s Take Care album.
MikeTrampe: If you could open for any artist living or dead, who would it be and why?
EP: It would have to be Drake, because I feel like we would have the same fan base and he’s been a really big influence to my music.
MikeTrampe: If you could create a super-group with 2 other artists and one producer, who would you pick?
EP: Drake and J. Cole with the help of Noah 40 as the producer.
MikeTrampe: Any last shout out’s or comments?
EP: I want to give a shout out to my parents, my sister, and to my true supporters. I also want to give a shout out to my two brothers Blind Richi and AV3 the MC because they are with me through thick and thin. Lastly I want to shout out MikeTrampe.com for considering and recognizing my music. Thank you!
